The new, heavy-duty CONTI SYNCHROFORCE^® belts pave the way for completely new performance levels. CXP III for highly stressed, high-speed drives and CXA III for drives with high torques .

The SYNCHROFORCE timing belt's special design as well as the high resilience and shape retention of its teeth are crucial features. Rotary motion is transmitted with angular accuracy at constant peripheral speeds.

Compared with the CXP - a belt that already had staying power - it has a life that is 3 times longer under the same conditions.

Moreover, maintenance and stoppages are considerably reduced thanks to the longer intervals between replacements. Both aspects mean that replacing the belts on existing drives soon pays off.

Up to 20% more performance

Material technology and design optimization enable the new improved performance. The interaction between compound, rubber and tension member is improved and gives higher strength and load-carrying capacity. The tooth section is reinforced with multi-layer polyamide fabric that reduces both friction and heat build-up.

20% less belt width with the same performance

With these class-leading improvements the CONTI SYNCHROFORCE^® CXP III and CXA III exceed the performance levels of their predecessor CXP and CXA belts with a 20% narrower belt width. These narrower widths reduce not only the cost of the belt itself, but also the cost of other drive components.

For both types of belt, this leads to better value for money, as the use of smaller pulleys, flanges etc. can cut the costs of the entire system by up to 30%. Noise levels are also reduced thanks to the narrower belts.
