NEW Thermoplastic Hoses Introduction
Italy-based Merlett has been manufacturing thermoplastic hoses since the 1980s.
In 2019, Continental, a company with over 100 years of experience in hoses and hose lines for all industrial applications, acquired the Merlett Group. Now part of Continental’s Industrial Fluid Solutions business unit, Merlett’s thermoplastic hoses sit alongside Continental’s well-established rubber hoses. Continental boasts extensive expertise in processing rubber, metal, and thermoplastics. The two thermoplastic hose production sites feature 130 production lines, 200 extruders, and 20 presses, with a daily output of around 450,000 meters.
