RESATEC Motor Bases MW‑8 & MW‑10: Precision, Efficiency and Maintenance-Free Performance

The RESATEC MW 8 motor base is designed as a highly versatile solution for friction belt drives powered by motors from 7.5 to 45 kW.

Its continuously adjustable design allows it to adapt easily to various belt types and quantities, ensuring precise alignment and reliable performance. Equipped with two integrated axle stabilisers, a robust, maintenance-free pretensioning device, and a screw-head bracket, the MW‑8 enables safe, simple, one‑person installation. All necessary mounting holes are pre‑configured for motor housing sizes from IEC 160M–225M and NEMA 254T–365T, making integration quick and straightforward.

For larger applications, the RESATEC MW 10 is engineered for motors ranging from 37 kW to 200 kW.

This powerful unit features a single, stepless, maintenance‑free pretensioning system with axial ball bearings, ensuring smooth operation and effortless tensioning. Compatible with IEC 225S – 315M and NEMA 404T – 447T motor sizes, the MW‑10’s compact design enables easy installation even in existing systems where space is limited. Its self-regulating function guarantees optimal belt tension at all times for maximum efficiency and extended component life.

Both the MW 8 and MW 10 deliver consistent traction performance, reduced maintenance, and long-term reliability. With perfectly maintained belt tension, operators benefit from lower downtime, improved energy efficiency, and enhanced operational stability.
