Advantages of Marathon chain
- Up to 35 x greater service life, compared with unlubricated standard roller chains
- Up to 5 x greater service life, compared with other maintenance-free chains
- No post installation lubrication required
- Temperatures ranging from –20°C to +100°C
- Clean applications, no soiling of machinery and transported goods
- Bushes consist of a new type of sintered metal of high compression strength treated with special lubricant
- Bushes are longer than the chain link width and have sliding contact with the outer plate. Foreign bodies are unable to penetrate the chain joint
- Pins made of a specially coated, hardened Steel alloy giving a low-wear and pore-free surface, guaranteeing excellent bearing performance
- The same breaking load as Wippermann standard chains
- All Marathon chains fit standard sprockets
